T&A report: Plumber attended to investigate the leak coming from the bathroom upstairs and WC downstairs. Our tradesman removed part of the sub-floor and floorboards in the downstairs bathroom which confirmed there was a leak coming from the grey pipe. Shower room upstairs has a problem with the silicon. The tradesman advised the customer that the fixing of a leak is not covered under the policy. The policyholder subsequently instructed us to fix the leak and notified insurers that this had been carried out so that reinstatement works under the policy could commence.
